Dr. Ya-Hsin Yu

Dr. Yu is a board-certified endodontist. She was born and raised in Taiwan. After practicing for a few years as a general dentist in Taiwan, Dr. Yu decided to pursue endodontic specialty training. She enrolled in an endodontic program at Taipei Veteran General Hospital. Dr. Yu then obtained her Postgraduate Endodontic Certificate, Master’s Degree and DMD from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Yu’s research interests are focused on pain and endodontic-related surgery. Dr. Yu was a full-time faculty member and served as Penn Endo’s Clinic Director. She is now a practicing Endodontist in New York and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Yu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics. She has lectured at national and international conferences. Dr. Yu is also an instructor for the endodontic microsurgery course.
